Pain Management

Pain in the body limits you from doing the things you need and want to do. With a thorough examination, we will discover the cause of your pain and treat you with a variety of methods to get you feeling and moving better! Dry needling, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, stretching and more are some of the methods we use to eliminate pain.

Dry Needling (DN) is an alternative treatment method that uses a dry needle (without medication) that is inserted through the skin and into an active trigger point within the muscle. An active trigger point is a sensitive point within the muscle that is painful to touch and can refer pain to other areas in the body.

Dry Needling is used in conjunction with stretching, exercise and manual therapy to help you reach your goals faster!

How Can Dry Needling Help Me?

DN can be used for a variety of musculoskeletal problems. Trigger points can play both a primary and secondary role in symptoms being treated.

Conditions that have been shown to respond favorably to DN:
-Headaches

-Neck and low back pain
-Shoulder and arm pain (including tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and golfer’s elbow)

-Hip pain
-Sciatic pain/leg pain (including hamstring strains and calf tightness/spasms)
-Foot pain (plantar fasciitis)
